De tre faktorerna är (jag skriver dem på engelska direkt citerat från boken "Making sense av Change management" av Cameron&Green ): Genuineness and congruence : to be aware of your own feelings, to be real, to be autentic Unconditional positive regard : a genuine

Jim Kwik - 10 Things that Will Change Your Life Immediately

Han blev känd som " the boy with the broken brain ". Från Kwik´s video nedan kan du lära dig mer om "10 keys to having an ageless mind": no.1 Brain Diet the most important foods for your brain: avokado, blåbär, broccoli, ägg, kokosolja, olivolja, grön sallad, vild lax no.2 Killing Ants skip your automatic negative thoughts no.3 Exercise including MOVEMENT ökar mängden BDNF som stimulerar nya kontaktvägar i hjärnan no.4 Brain Nutrients eat brain vitamins , like DHA/Omega-3 no.5 Positive Peer Group are you inspired, encouraged, challenged, energized by... umgås med person

The 100% rule that will change your life

Bild
Ännu ett spännande TED talk - The 100% rule . En summering av "föreläsningen": Changing your behaviour has to be first a shift of identity Almost all successful entrepreneurs have had "a point of no return experience", e.g. making a financial investment in your end goal, like buying a full shipment of shoes or buying an expensive suit that is much smaller than your size rig

Primal leadership by HBR

Bild
Via HBR on Twitter I had the opportunity to read an article called: "Primal leadership - The Hidden Driver of Great Performance " , written by Daniel Goleman , Richard Boyatzis and Annie McKee. Below quotations are directly taken from the HBR article , and here you have a PDF-version of the article from ChangeForChildren : We’ve known for years that emotional intelligence improves results—often by an order of magnitude. Now, new research shows that a leader’s mood plays a key role in that dynamic—a discovery that should redefine what leaders do first and best. If a leader’s mood and accompanying behaviors are indeed such potent drivers of business success, then a leader’s premier task—we would even say his primal task—is emotional leadership. A leader needs to make sure that not only is he regularly in an optimistic, authentic, high-energy mood, but also that, through his chosen actions, his followers feel and act that way, too. Managing for financial results, then,

Think the opposite by Paul Arden

Bild
As part of a mentoring program in Tieto, we got the opportunity to choose a leadership book as inspiration. Myself and my mentee chose " Whatever you think - Think the opposite " by Paul Arden . The cover page explains the focus of the book: This book explains the benefits of making bad decisions It shows how risk is your security in life And why unreason is better than reason It´s about having the confidence to roll the dice I love the book. It is exformative , condensed, sharp, raw, honest, bold... Full of inspiration and passion. Well, some sample quotes from the book : There is no right point of view There is a conventional or popular point of view. There is a personal point of view. There is a large point of view which the majority share. There is a small point of view which just a few share. But there is no right point of view. You are always right. You are always wrong. It just depends from which pole you are looked at. Advances in any field are b

Principer för ett vuxet beteende...

Bild
No matter what. Never assume the motives of others are, to them, less noble than yours are to you. Don’t trouble yourself with matters you truly cannot change. Laugh at yourself frequently. Never forget that, no matter how certain , you might be wrong . Learn the needs of those around you and respect them. Avoid the pursuit of happiness. Seek to define your mission and pursue that . Understand humility. Forgive. Live memorably . Love yourself. Den empatiska revolutionen

Bild
Affective Empathy - a shared emotional response Cognitive Empathy - perspective taking, stepping into somebody else´s world Highly empathic people tend to be very sensitive listeners -  they make themselves vulnerable It won´t stop until we talk - "the parents circle" [Palestine - Israel] We share the same pain "Hello peace" History - the rise and fall of Empathy Moments of mass empathic flowering and empathic collapse Abol

Seven habits - the public victory

Bild
I would like to share my exformative summary of "the public victory" from the book " The seven habits of highly effective people - powerful lessons in personal change" by Stephen R. Covey . To see my exformative summary of the private victory, click here . The public victory is all about interdependance ... THINK WIN/WIN Stephen Covey defines six paradigms of human interaction: Win/Win, Win/Lose, Lose/Win, Lose/Lose, Win, Win/Win or No Deal. The Win/Win paradigm is a frame of mind and heart, meaning that agreements or solutions should be mutually beneficial, mutually satisfying. Win/Win is a belief in the Third alternative . It´s not your way or my way; it´s a bettter way, a higher way . The principle of Win/Win embraces five interdependant dimensions of life. It begins with character and moves toward relationships, out of which flow agreements. It is nurtured in an environment where structure and systems are based on Win/Win. And it involves process; we

Sharpen the saw, self-renewal

Bild
I have earlier written two summary blog posts about "The seven habits of highly effective people" written by Stephen R. Covey . The first was about the private victory and the second about the public victory . Now it is time to summarize habit 7; Sharpen the saw - principles of balanced self-renewal ". Habit 7 is about preserving and enhancing the greatest asset you have - you. It´s renewing the four dimensions of your nature - physical, spiritual, mental, and social/emotional, by exercising regularly and consistently in wise and balanced ways. The physical dimension involves caring effectively for our physical body - eating the right kinds of foods, getting sufficient rest and relaxation, and exercising on a regular basis. A good exercise program is one that you can do in your own home and that will build your body in three areas: endurance (the ability of your heart to pump blood through your body - exercised through e.g rapid walking, running, biking, swimmin

Tony Robbins tells the Rocky story

Bild
Yesterday I met a collegue that attended a 4-day Tony Robbins inspiration halleluja meeting in Italy. She told me a story about how to chose your own attitude - from a "Oh, fuck" attitude, to a "Fuck you" attitude. She also told me that one really amazing inspirational story that she heard, was Tony Robbins telling "the Rocky story" - a story of motivation and commitment . I had to find it, and of course it was on YouTube (unfortunately not able to embed) but here is the link ! Having listening to this, I also saw that actually Sylvester Stallone is telling this story himself. Quite good also. See the first episode here: Then, I also heard that the next Anthony Robbins halleluja meeting in Europe, " Unleash the power within ",  is in London this May. Maybe time for some personal change... look into the "marketing video" below for a teaser: By the way, I am thinking of attending. Any month now, I will decide ... I must refle

Summering av "the seven habits of highly effective people"

Well, den exformativa engelska summeringen av ”De sju goda vanorna”: ”Between stimulis and response, man has the freedom to choose” BE PROACTIVE Self-awareness     response-ability      Circle of Influence a mental creation (the blueprint)
