Några " highlights " från intervjun: Iran is desperate - they see the Abrah

Streetsmart på nätet - Katia Wagner

Bild

Magical to Sell is Human by Dan Pink

Bild
You know that I love Daniel Pink . He has written " Drive ", " A whole new mind " and " Johnny Bunko ". His latest book is " To Sell is Human ". I have not read it yet AND after exploring the net I can clearly say that I will read it very soon... The book is about the new ABC´s in sales : Attunement , seing the world from the perspective of the buyer Buoyancy , how do you remain in a positive state when you are dealing with rejections Clarity , how do you help people understand what you´re actually offering, and why the buyer doesn´t want to buy. “A fresh look at the art and science of sales using a mix of social science, survey research and stories.” —Forbes.com By searching the internet, I found the below summaries regarding this book. If you like to read, from tech.com I found  a short summary of the book  - if you don´t feel like you have time to read the full book just now, this is a perfect teaser. And, there are of course some

Video games help us learn, focus and multi-task

As you might know, TED.com is one of my favourite sites. Coming from the IT-industry, I also like to explore what science says about IT usage, e.g video games. That´s why this TED-talk is important for you as a parent to watch and digest... are video games good or bad? Exformative samples from the talk: Daphne is interested in "How to make our brains: SMARTER-BETTER-FASTER-STRONGER " What is the impact of video games on the brain? We need a new brand of chocalate (video games), that have all the good effects of broccoli embedded without you knowing it...

TRUST AGENTS av Brogan och Smith

Bild
Kontentan   #7/2012 heter "Trust agents - using the web to build influence, improve reputation and earn trust" av Chris Brogan och Julien Smith .

Bild
What should I do with all these bonus points I had earned on Malmö Aviation Frequent Flyer program. I decided to use it for an extended safari weekend in Masai Mara in Kenya . And, I felt that it would be interesting, and actually necessary, to define a taylor-made trip only for me booked via Internet and using Google search as my personal assistant. The bonus flight I actually booked "live", or at least via phone talking to Ulrika, to make sure that I really got the best dates and time that suited my needs. My departure from Copenhagen with SN 2268 was Friday November 11th at 06:35 . It was an early morning going by taxi from my home in Höllviken to the train-station, then taking the öresundståg to Kastrup airport. Landing in Brussels 8:15, gave me more than two hours until the Brussel- Nairobi flight, that took of 10:40. Interestingly we took the route via Kigali in Rwanda (6367 km), then further to Nairobi (757 km). The flight was more or less on time, landing in

Äckligt, baby - Ansiktet

Bild

Less is more than enough

Bild
I have found an exformation friend . The YouTube-clip below is done to show how our brain process information (explained in my Tor Nörretranders favourite book "The User Illusion"). We receive most information from our eyes (our visual senses) and it can be measured to about 10 MBit /s. But, our brain only let´s our consciousness be aware of about 40 Bit/s - the rest are stored (or hided) and can only be retrieved via our subconsciousness or our intuition . Some quotes from the clip: if so much information becomes exformation shouldn´t designers put less stuff into their work? less is more than enough From YouTube : A Bandwidth for Humans is based on the book "The User Illusion" by Tor Norretranders:

Organizational connectedness

I have a colleague, Oscar Berg , who is a Future Office Evangelist. The divided brain by RSA Animate

Bild
A couple of days ago a new RSA Animate clip was produced - " The Divided Brain ", based on a lecture by Iain McGilchrist . I love this concept! Here is the exformative written summary of the YouTube clip embedded below: Left hemisphere is for narrow, sharply focused attention to details versus the right hemisphere is for sustained, broad, open, vigilant alertness. The right hemisphere yields a world of individual, changing, evolving, interconnected, implicit, incarnate living beings in the context of the lived world. For a broad understanding we use knowledge from the right hemisphere. The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. I love the RSA concept, but I do not feel that this specific lecture gave me loads of new good stuff. I am pretty much into these topics, psychology and intuition, and I like this type of lectures where you get a new insight into the complexity of humanity, brought to us by the function of our brain. Where Good Ideas Come From

Bild
WHERE GOOD IDEAS COME FROM by Steven Johnson . Engines of creativity = the historic increase in Connectivity ...distracted... borrow... combine... missing piece... From Wikipedia: "He is the author of the best-selling book, Everything Bad is Good for You: How Today's Popular Culture Is Actually Making Us Smarter (2005), which argues that over the last three decades popular culture artifacts (like television dramas and video games) have become increasingly complex and have helped to foster higher-order thinking skills." Be the first win to synergize the saw

Bild
I would like myself to be proactive ... Sometimes it is difficult, but tomorrow I really would like myself to begin with the end in mind while writing an extraordinary blog post about the Stephen Covey seven habits of highly effective people. I truly believe that I right now should be in my sofa looking at TV, to p ut first things first , like Fredrik and Filip or Karatefylla. When I think about life, I really think Win-Win . Why? Because, in all my inter-human interactions, I Seek first to understand, then to be understood . After some meditation and reflection, I usually synergize and finally, I look around in despair, looking for a place where I can Sharpen the saw . By the way, picture from Careerdevelopmentplan.net. In real life, I found this video clip, directly from YouTube . The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People in Five Minutes from SelfGrowth.com: That was pretty good. But wait, the Hindu version is even better. Directly from YouTube , 7 Habits of Highly Effective

Conan O´Brien på twitter

Bild
Han blev "sparkad" från the Tonight show januari 2010. Efter det började han twittra . Enligt Wikipedia: On February 24, 2010, O'Brien attracted media attention for starting a Twitter account.[58][59] His tweets, although primarily jokes, amounted to his first public statements since leaving The Tonight Show one month earlier.[60] After about one hour, O'Brien's subscriber list had rocketed to over 30,000 members and approximately 30 minutes later, he was on the brink of passing 50,000 followers, already 20,000 more than the verified @jayleno account.[61][62][63] After 24 hours, O'Brien had well over 300,000 followers.[60] In late May 2010, he surpassed the one million mark for number of Twitter followers.[64] O'Brien has been named to the 2010 Time 100, a list compiled by TIME of the 100 most influential people in the world as voted on by

Lycka i framtiden

Bild
